Gisele:

This park has a rural feel, an RV community carved out of the surrounding forest. This is deceiving because I’m less than 10 minutes from the Malls in Upper Gibsons and the same from the village of Gibsons Landing with my favorite restaurants and the Marina where my sailboat is moored.

For park residents, the Clubhouse serves many purposes, from Christmas Potluck, weekly card games, arts and craft projects to private use for those special occasions when kids and grandkids are invited. It’s great to know that there’s an attractive room you can go to when you’ve invited more friends than your RV will hold.

During the Peak Seasons, of April to October I work my shift in the coffee shop greeting golfers, traveling RV’ers and serving lunch.

It’s a small community and many of the golfers are Sunshine Coast residents and many RV’ers are repeat guests from all over. I enjoy meeting them again.

Living in my RV in this Park to me is pretty much like being on holiday all the time. There are campfires, Barbeques, park get togethers and quiet times on my lounge reading a book. I’ve been to Hawaii, Mexico, and the Southern U.S. and loved them all, but regardless of how great a place is after a certain time, I’m ready to come home. Mick could travel more so we compromise.

I hope I’ve been able to convey to you how I feel about being a full time RV’er living in this Park. I’d love to hear from you. If you’re interested in meeting Mick and I, remember the coffee pot is always on.
